As promised, here’s some from this lovely family photo shoot, that’s Stage 1 for the little twin boys, and stage 4 (or at least the 4th photo shoot I’ve done of their older sister). I cannot say enough how cool it is to be asked back to continue to document their lives. (Plus, aren’t they just the cutest people ever?!)
One of my most popular family packages is the “As You Grow” series – parents like it because they get regular photo shoots at 6 month intervals of their little ones. I love them because I get to watch kids grow up and families get stronger, which is amazing to witness. Here’s a few of my favorites from a “Stage 2” shoot. I just absolutely adore it when people ask me to take pictures of their families, and even more so when I get to take multiple generations. There’s something so cool about seeing everyone together in one place and how certain characteristics just show up in each generation. I adore this family – I posted a teaser from their shoot a while back, and here’s a few more.

One of my very most favorite spots in Golden Gate Park is Shakespeare’s Garden. It’s tucked away behind the Academy of Sciences and is a stunning little secret garden filled with cherry trees. Here are some photos from a light-filled family session we did there recently.
Every year I usually donate a photography package to be auctioned off for a worthy cause. This year I donated to the Bay Area United Way & this lovely family was the winning bidder. We went to Cavallo Point (one of my favorite places to capture both the Golden Gate Bridge and totally natural backgrounds) to do the shoot & their little girl just stole the show. These are just a few of my favorite shots — this family clearly loves being together because they were all smiles all morning long. I love doing something for a good cause and meeting awesome people.

We have been busy this weekend! We shot a beautiful wedding in downtown SF (previews of that coming soon) and did a really fun family shoot with one of my favorite clients. (I’ve been shooting them since this little one was a baby & now she’s two. My time flies.)

Just thought I’d share a little sneak preview from a recent family photo shoot we did. I just loved this one. There are 3 girls in the fam, and they’re 2, 5 and 11. I think their personalities and “stage of life” just totally came out. They were all having fun and were just fantastic to work with (although, I swear, it really doesn’t feel like work, ever & I am touched-by-an-angel-lucky to have the most fantastic clients ever).
I just love this shot from a recent family shoot — this little gal is a mere 11 weeks old. Just a wee one & already ready for her close-up. (Watch out Norma Desmond.) (Anyone catch the Sunset Blvd. references? One of my favs. The movie & musical versions. Okay, tangent over.)
