Style Me Pretty – California Feature!
You guys, I am so excited – we’ve got a feature up on Style Me Pretty – California today!! You simply must go over there to check it out. It’s the coolest wedding – the couple is from Australia and they planned to elope in San Francisco in complete secrecy — the two of them (and me, and the lovely Shana Astrachan of Fox & Doll who did her hair) were the only people who knew their plan. It was so awesome to be a part of that. On top of it all, they were absolutely lovely people. And quite relaxed too – during our photo session after the ceremony, Kate put her bouquet down for a few moments so we could shoot some pics without it, and someone walked by and swiped it! None of us saw it happen (they were walking away from the camera and I was focused on them), but a good samaritan saw the whole thing go down, so I played action hero and chased it down and recovered it (don’t let it be said that we are not a full service boutique!). It was crazy and I was so worried, but Adam and Kate were just completely relaxed and it seemed to barely be anything other than a funny story to them. Anyway, go check out the feature – it’s one of my favorites and I’ll have some more pics on here at some point soon.
Talking about Pinterest with Classic Bride
So this is fun – I got to meet the darling Sarah Darcy, the editor of Classic Bride, when she was out here in San Francisco, and we got to talking about inspiration, art and Pinterst. She’s doing a fun series talking to photographers about Pinterest and my interview with her is up on her blog. Go check it out!
My awesomely fun shoot with Sarah Darcy is live on Classic Bride!
Okay, you guys need to immediately head over to Classic Bride right now, right this second, to see the really fun shoot we did at the Presidio Social Club. I adored finally getting to finally meet Sarah in person & I cannot gush enough – she is as nice as she is stylish and gorgeous. But go look at the pics and see for yourself.
Sneak Peek at my shoot with Sarah Darcy, aka the Classic Bride!
I am pleased to report that I had the most awesome time ever doing a photo shoot with Sarah Darcy, the creator and editor of one of my favorite wedding blogs – Classic Bride (if you’re wedding planning, I love her unfussy, yet completely elegant style – this is one that provides inspiration that’s approachable and timeless). Through this funny little wedding business, we’ve gotten to know each other over email, but meeting her in person was so fantastic. She is sweet, funny, darling, everything I expected and more. We had a great time doing a little shoot with her and one of her best girlfriends while she was visiting SF. This is just a teaser shot – more to come!
Here’s what I’m up to . . .
I’m so excited! In a couple of week I get to meet one of my all.time.most.favorite.bloggers ever & & & I get to take her picture!!! That’s right, Sarah Darcy, the editor of Classic Bride is coming to town. We’re going to dinner, but first we’ll be doing a portrait session with one of her best girlfriends too. I am so looking forward to seeing how this all comes together. To plan, we’re all pinning ideas on this Pinterest board – check it out!!
