It’s been a little while since I’ve posted one of my artist crushes, too long in fact, and that just means that I’ve been saving up some good stuff.  This week, I have a crush on Ron Hicks – he’s a contemporary artist, but I think his work evokes earlier eras, and the old Dutch masters.  I love when contemporary art takes inspiration from days gone by and does something fresh with it.  Take a moment and click through to his work – I think you’ll find it worth your time.
