Way back when I first went to museums as a kid, the gateway drug to get me there was the impressionists.  They made such pretty paintings, it was easy to get me inside to see them.  Today, I like a lot of other art more, but there is something that still pulls me in with this era.  I was just reminded that I’ve been meaning to get to the exhibit “Impressionists on the Water” at the Palace Legion of Honor & now that has to advance to the top of the “to do” list as it’s only here until October 14th.  When it opened, October seemed so very far away.
