I love music. It’s not something I’ve written about much because you can’t hear words, really. But you can click on links to songs. Right this second I am really into “I Saw the Light” — not my usual genre at all, but I have always had a soft spot for a little gospel & I also have been on an Orange is the New Black kick (which featured this in its final episode). I am also into Save the Last Dance for Me by Michael Buble. Truthfully, most of his songs annoy me, but not this one. I think it’s a cover of a record my grandparents (Madeline and Tom) used to listen to, and it just conjures up cocktail hour. Personally, I love the idea of ending the day with a strong Manhattan and dancing around to big band music. My last, latest pick is Little Too Much by Natasha Bedingfield. I saw her in concert at the Fillmore a few years ago and was totally impressed with her, and I love pop music. It just makes me happy. I like to roll down the car windows and blast it on long drives, all while singing out loud. Very few things in life are that much fun.
