Grapefruit is my absolute most favorite citrus fruit. I could have one every day. Out by the ocean, there’s a wonderful little breakfast spot called Cassava that serves a bruleed grapefruit (yes, it is a delightful brulee crust, like you’d find on a creme brulee) & I always order it. I tried to recreate it at home, but I need to pick up one of those torch things as broiling got the flavor right but not the crunch. Anyway, just thought I’d post a little ode to grapefruit today for some Tuesday randomness.
