I absolutely love this weekend when the time “falls back” and we all get an extra hour to sleep on Sunday and the sun finally starts coming up again before 7:30AM.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the long days, but when they’re over, they’re over people.  I am ready for apple cider, fires, just all things fall.  Hope you all have a lovely weekend & if you’re on the east coast and impacted by Sandy, I so hope you are warm, dry & have power.  Here’s what caught my eye this week:

*I loved this overview of haunted houses (for reals!) in San Francisco
*Y’all know I love City Hall weddings and City Hall style – so I adored this fun slideshow (that came to my attention via A Cup of Jo)
*I thought these wedding “budget” tips were insane & ridiculously dated (seriously, disposable cameras?  I’d rather see your friends instagram an entire wedding than do that).  The comments on this post say more than I ever could on this subject . . .
*Classic Bride is doing a Minted Holiday Card giveaway – so awesome, I heart Minted paper goods.
*Touching letter to President Obama from star wedding photog Elizabeth Messina (yeah, I have a total photography crush on her).
*Sad photos & a good reminder to maybe think a little bit about earthquake preparedness.
*It was sheer Giants madness downtown SF on Wednesday!  Good job, boys.
