Some Lesley Evers love

The other night I watched TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress – Bridesmaids” edition (don’t judge, it’s like a trainwreck, you probably couldn’t turn the channel either) & in addition to just being kind of horrified (in my years in the wedding industry I have been *so* lucky to just have charming brides & maids and have yet to see that kind of nonsense), I was struck by just how boring and dated the dresses were.  So I was reinspired to continue my occasional posts on cute bridesmaids dress options.  This topic always pulls me back to one of my *all time favorites* — Lesley Evers.  For those of you in the Bay Area, she’s a local dressmaker, based in Oakland, and her dresses are flattering, fun & have that awesome touch of being just a little bit retro and fully modern all at the same time.  I happen to think that one of her bright prints would make the cutest bridesmaids dresses of all time, especially for an outdoor summer wedding.  They’d also be super cute just to wear to a wedding or special event.  (Confession time, as I was putting this post together, I couldn’t help myself and ordered this poppy print for myself.)

As usual, content is not sponsored, I just feature things I love.

  1. I love Lesley Evers, too! Wore the Grace dress to my daughters birthday. Glad to have found your blog and Pinterest pages!
