My photography partner Bill does the most beautiful abstract expressionist paintings. This is one of those areas where a photo just doesn’t do justice because it doesn’t capture how layered his paintings are — he uses a lot of layers of paint on paint (you can tell I’m not a painter as I’m sure there is a technical term for this) for really interesting pieces.
