So I am dying to see this documentary about Bill Cunningham, the 80+ year old photographer for the New York times who delights me every Sunday with his collage of people on the street. It open in SF on April 8th — not sure which theater yet (it’s listed as playing at one of the Landmark/art houses – Embarcadero, Lumiere, or Opera Plaza).

I know it really seems fantastic. Having tried to get full street photos of people – with shoes in – and failing I know how hard it must be to take the kind of photos he does. And they look fabulous and he has a great eye. New York is the place to go with those pics though.
