Free time is hard to come by, but I adore a lazy, Saturday afternoon spent in a coffee shop on weekends when I’m not working a shoot.  Matching 1/2 Cafe at McAllister & Baker is one of my favorite haunts (Elle took this pic there on just such a lazy weekend day) — from the exterior, it looks like nothing special, but inside, it has modern clean lines and great coffee.  Even better than the coffee, though, are the delicious goodies from Black Jet Bakery.  You have to know to ask for them & they’re often sold out of the covetous treats, but if you get lucky, you just might score one.  If you’re getting married, know that Black Jet also does wedding cakes.  I’d bet they’d the be the most delicious cake you ever had at a wedding.
