Lets face it, it’s a recession & you’ve got to save somewhere when planning your wedding. Obviously, at Elle, we think photography isn’t the place to do that (despite what lots of bridal magazines are advising these days). If you have any doubt about whether or not to hire a pro, check out your friends “wedding albums” on Facebook for a sample of what it looks like to delegate photography to your guests with digital cameras (maybe you get lucky and get a great shot, but do you really want your special day to come down to luck?). Since everything that goes into a wedding seems expensive, Elle is starting a series of posts on how you can pinch the pennies with lots of style (& then splurge on photography!).
So kicking off the series, we recently saw that Target carries the cutest line of letterpress invitations that are incredibly reasonable — $35 for 50! I love paper & stationery & these are charming and well worth checking out. The image in this post is just one of many different styles. I checked online & didn’t see them there, so you probably should plan to go to the store to check these out.
(Elle isn’t paid by Target or any of the companies she posts about.)
